A Letter for America
A LETTER FOR AMERICA
The original version of A Letter for America was written by Bréon in his formative years, foretelling of events that we are witnessing today.
The poem calls upon the memories of the great political, and social, American icons. The message comes not only from an historical background but also has inspiring elements that are highly relevant today.
A Letter for America, and accompanying video, represent a social commentary on The American Dream, and how the reality of that dream continues, more than ever, to be under threat. It is a call to action in defence of freedom, democracy and education.
In Bréon’s own words: “I want to make people aware of the dangers that lie ahead, and what is at stake. I want people to realise just how fragile freedom and democracy are.”
